Just had ears syringed - question?

When you have them syringed you can hear again, but the reason it sounds funny is because your brain has to re-train your ears to hear all these sounds again and it takes quite a few days. I am 34 (tomorrow) and have hearing aids in both ears, have always had problems hearing but only recently had them checked. So when i had them fitted it was very very weird. I could not believe the sounds I was hearing and it took several days for my brain to train them back to normal. Give yourself a week and if its no better than go back to your gp, but I am sure you will find things feel more normal by then.
