How much should I be compensated for cleaning silver?

I cleaned about half of it manually (with stinky tarnish) and the other half using baking soda and aluminum foil. It took me about 3 hours to do and my mom helped a substantial bit. About how much do you think we should ask for, for cleaning it? It's real silver and worth a lot of money (if for some reason we took it to a pawn shop to be appraised). It's cutlery if that makes a difference.
