Cate tiernan balefire series?

Does anyone know why the 3rd and 4th books in the Balefire series by Cate Tiernan are so expensive? I've tried to find them on amazon.com and half.com and the cheapest I'm finding are paperbacks for like $25. Is there any reason for this?
