Does anyone else live in Japan and hate it?

Maybe you should hang around Chatan more it's the most western like part of Okinawa and it has a beach. You might meet up with other westerners as all the US bases are near there. When I was working there on a film, it rained almost eight days a week and that really can get you down. Check out if there are any solarium's or gyms around where you are living, 15-20 minutes in the solarium and workout really dose wonders followed by a social drink at a local bar where you may meet other Americans also living there.
